In 2014, our CEO, Jason Blair, had the great privilege of being assigned to the White House Communications Agency, supporting the travel mission of the President.

Having traveled to a few destinations, Jason knew that this organization was of the highest quality, but he also realized that things could be improved. During this period of time, he continued to grow in the organization and started talking with other executive communicators to gain a better insight on how to improve the overall user experience, which he was able to implement during his tenure. Much to his surprise, these conversations continued well after Jason hung up his military uniform and pursued a career in the business world.

During this journey, one question kept presenting itself – How do we continue to innovate and provide white glove IT communications without introducing new problems to this no-fail mission? It was a combination of these experiences, along with over twenty years of providing IT support in the military, which contributed to the founding of Backpack Technologies, LLC.

The fact is that, at the end of the day, the solution just needs to work!
